I've been experimenting with new, for me, ways of working to create form. Garden Muse is a result of one of those experiments. Carved in assembled blocks of insulating foam, coated in fiber re-enforced concrete, impregnated with multiple layers of pigmented substrate and sealed with layers of lacquer and then waxes she has a depth of surface complexity that lends the appearance of bronze with a rich patina. And that may well be where these experiments are heading
